Ausfine’s accreditation as an Australian Trusted Trader is a mark of distinction. It signals that Ausfine Foods International has been independently assessed and accredited against World Customs Organisation standards. The Trusted Trader accreditation indicates our company has been reviewed by the government and considered to have a sound and secure supply chain and related systems in place, giving us priority treatment at the border on processing and examination of imports.
HACCP Accreditation
HACCP is a food safety and risk assessment plan that was originally developed in the 1960’s by NASA and a group of food safety specialists.
HACCP stands for Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points and outlines seven key principles in food safety - Hazard Analysis, Critical Control Points, Critical Limits, Critical Control Monitoring, Corrective Action, Procedures, and Record Keeping. HACCP can be applied to all processes throughout each and every stage of the food supply chain. This includes production, preparation, packaging and distribution.
Ausfine’s certification covers chilled and frozen meat, frozen desserts and chilled and frozen dairy, dry dairy goods, frozen cherry tomatoes and gluten free pizza bases.
AUSMEAT Accreditation
The AUSMEAT language is based on product description and objective measurements of various carcass traits such as hot weight, fat depth, sex and age of animals. Processors use the Language to define company specifications, which determine particular 'grades'. The Language covers descriptions for primal cuts and offal products derived from Beef, Veal, Sheep and Goat. The AUSMEAT Language has been adopted throughout the Australian meat industry and by most customers in importing countries.
Halal Accreditation
Many of Australia’s meat packers and dairy manufacturers are officially accredited with the Islamic society in their state who have approved their processes to be acceptable to Muslims and the Islamic faith. As such a Halal certificate can be provided in most instances upon prior request.
Kosher Accreditation
Many of Australia’s meat packers and dairy manufacturers are officially accredited with Kosher Australia who have approved their processes to be acceptable to Jews and the Jewish faith. As such a Kosher certificate can be provided in most instances upon prior request.
